Teradata Appoints Thomas Schröder as Vice President, Europe
Schröder becomes European region lead with focus on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) innovation
Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) today announced Thomas Schröder as the new Vice President, Europe. In this new role, Schröder will lead Teradata´s business unit throughout Europe, including subsidiaries and market presence across Central, Western, Southern and Eastern Europe as well as the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Israel. Schröder will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy, sales, and operations in Europe, helping customers unleash AI/ML innovation and drive ROI. Together, with global and local partners, he will support organizations across all industries to adopt trusted AI strategies with Teradata VantageCloud, the most complete cloud analytics, and data platform for AI.
Commenting on the appointment, Richard Petley, CRO at Teradata said: “We are delighted to have such a strong leader for Europe in Thomas Schröder, who has already made an extraordinary contribution in his role as Vice President, Central Europe. Most recently, Schröder was Vice President, Central Europe at Teradata, a role he has held since October 2022. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and management, Schröder has a proven track record as a successful and inspiring leader in global technology organizations. These include, among others, Vodafone Enterprise, the Enterprise and Partner Group of Microsoft Germany, Oracle Hardware Sales, Sun Microsystems, or Philips Business Communications Germany.
