Teradata Appoints Thomas Schröder as Vice President, Central Europe
Teradata (NYSE: TDC) today announced that Thomas Schröder has been appointed as Vice President, Central Europe. In this role, Schröder will be responsible for Teradata’s go-to-market strategy in Central Europe, helping to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities in the region and enabling customers in Germany and Switzerland to strengthen their businesses with the full power of data analytics.
With more than 20 years in the enterprise market, Schröder is an experienced and successful sales leader with a proven track record in growing enterprise businesses while achieving high customer satisfaction. He has managed direct and indirect sales across multiple industries, always with a focus on understanding customers’ needs. Schröder brings a wealth of experience in successful business transformations, including transforming Vodafone’s Global Enterprise Central Europe business into a customer-centric solution business unit. Prior to Vodafone, Schröder was Managing Director of the Enterprise and Partner Group for Microsoft in Germany, where he developed and grew a successful cloud business from a pure on-premises business.

Prior to joining Vodafone and Microsoft, Schröder was Vice President, Oracle Hardware Sales Northern Europe, Managing Director Sun Microsystems Germany, Vice President Central Europe Sun Microsystems, and General Manager and Director Sales and Marketing at Philips Business Communications GmbH Germany.
