Michael Hutchinson

Mike Hutchinson is Chief Operating Officer at Teradata. Hutchinson leads our global operations to ensure strategic execution and cross-functional collaboration to meet and exceed company goals.

With a rich history of driving sales and services growth, Hutchinson is a seasoned leader with a strong focus on operational excellence. His stellar track record includes consistently delivering against both financial and customer satisfaction targets. He is known for building strong and enduring customer relationships that help support long-term business objectives.

Most recently, Hutchinson served as Chief Customer Officer at Teradata, leading the Global Customer Services organization. This customer-centric business unit is chartered to drive optimal customer experiences and maximize customer value. He joined Teradata in June 2021 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Customer Success, Consulting and Renewals, and was responsible for defining the Company’s global customer success strategy, maximizing and documenting customer-realized business value, and yielding a world-class customer net promoter score, retention, and use case expansion.

Prior to joining Teradata, Hutchinson held key roles at Verint, including as SVP & Chief Customer Officer, where he led the delivery of all post-sales services across Cloud Operations and Security, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Support and Managed Services. Prior to Verint, Hutchinson served at Oracle for nearly 30 years in numerous roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in Global Vice President, North America Customer Success.

Hutchinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas, and is based in Atlanta.
